• NEW SPONSOR [elmar] •

Hey guys!

Some exciting news today– I’m officially sponsored by the skincare brand elmar 😀 They started off in the surfing industry but now they want to spread out to all outdoor sports, so that’s where I come in as a snowboarder. Woo!

Their most well-known moiturizing serum, made from a special type of seaweed called Mozuku, is literally a miracle product. Like I’m not kidding. Obviously it’s a moisturizer, so it keeps your skin super soft and nice all year round, but hear me out because it does a bunch of other cool stuff too:
1. It keeps your skin protected from harmful UV rays, but it’s not a “sunscreen” so it doesn’t have any of that oily greasy grossness
2. One of the natural components of mozuku called Fucoidan heals damaged body tissue. So you can put it on scrapes, cuts, and burns to help them heal faster
3. In 2013, the Japanese Pharmacological Society proved that Fucoidan also inhibits melanoma cells. Who knew seaweed could do so much?

I’ve been using their products for about a month now; needless to say I’m amazed by the results. I have super dry skin year round, but my face has been feeling so freaking soft. I never had issues with acne but my skin hasn’t been this clear since my middle school zit-free baby face days. Apparently elmar products also make your skin less prone to freckles and dark spots, and minimize the ones you already have.

The Japanese team is already in Colorado for their first over seas training and competition trip of the season, but I’m too busy with school so I’ll be joining them later. I just cannot wait to be back on snow.
